I was a very fortunate child. I had the attention and guidance of very good parents. Most things came fairly easy for me, including the ability to read well, right from the beginning. I just had such an epic fail with my English exam. I had been studying for the exam for almost 3 months. It was our final exam and I knew all of the content inside and out. I was studying books about Shakespeare when I should have been studying books about Mark Twain. Somehow I got all of the test material confused and studied the wrong information. This was such a big fail and I literally failed the test. I do not know how I overlooked this important detail. It is very upsetting because now I cannot go to college and I do not think I’m going to have a successful life. I am so depressed.
